The Firefly board comes with the firmware already installed if you got it from us so you can skip steps 1 and 2. 

   If you are downloading the firmware to try it out in your own hardware it would be in unregistered mode and you'll have to fill up the registration form at the bottom if you want full functionality. The needed info is in your control panel once you have installed the firmware. Registration has no cost. There is a handy python uploader within the fimware zip file.

   If you are trying the firmware in your own board you need to follow all 4 steps.

   Please follow these steps to set up your device:

1. Download the Firmware: click here , save and unzip the file.
2. Upload the Firmware to the device: Follow this instructions to upload the firmware to your ESP8266 device.
3. Connect the device to WiFi: Click here to learn how to connect your device to a WiFi network.
4. Connect sensors and Create Panels: Follow this guide to create panels and configure your device.
